My Story
This book is not a collection of Bible stories but rather a collection of Bible-based stories for your reflection. It was born out of a desire to explore and express how individuals in the Scriptures (who were people like you and me, not made-up characters in a play) may have felt and thought as they went through different experiences in their lives. The general theme is one that is evident and close to my heart: the longing bond between sons and fathers and those who fill those places in our lives as we navigate through different issues and events.

No one can deny that every generation has their own experiences to face. Our grandfathers’ lives were different from our fathers’ lives, and we in turn have a different view on life based on how we were raised, what we were exposed to, and the general development of the world around us that affects how we speak, think, and understand.Today, our children are exposed to issues and themes at earlier ages than we were.
But there are a few things that remain constant regardless of the changes of time. One is the love, acceptance, and protection a child desires from his or her parents.

Many people may see the Bible as irrelevant to today’s society. Some may look at it as the love letter giving account of the unique ways our heavenly Father reached out to humankind.
But I would also like to suggest to those who may have overlooked the notion that the Bible not only teaches us by instruction and example how God relates to us but also how we should relate to each other as people, as families, as children of God.
I believe the previous generation of ministers faithfully taught us the way of salvation, Bible doctrines, church order, and behavior

In this current generation, one can see many of today’s ministers (especially the international ones) have taken to task family and relationship issues, using the Bible as a basis for a “whole life salvation,” not just the gospel for the soul.
It is with this backdrop in my spirit that I present this first collection. The stories are written in the first person, with the hope you will feel a part of the experience and not just read about a topic.
I hope you enjoy reading it and possibly find things you can relate to.

Part 1 begins with a nativity story, followed by part 2, Sons, part 3, Fathers, and ending with part 4, the Easter edition of Who’s Your Daddy? Bible-Based Stories Showing God As A Father for Us All.
Wherever you are in your journey of self-discovery, it is my hope that you will find the joy and peace you are looking for. I found that a void in my life was filled when I discovered that the heavenly Father is a “father to the fatherless” (Psalm 68:5).
